Vote Earth is in the founding phase. We're building the team, the technology, and the community. This page is the honest plan — what comes first, what comes next, and why in that order.
Phase 1 — Foundation
Now
Build the founding community. Gather the first 10,000 people who believe verified truth matters more than political noise. Establish the legal entity (non-profit). Begin development of the core voting protocol.
Key milestone: A working prototype where verified users can submit questions and vote — with full anonymity and one-person-one-vote guarantee.
Phase 2 — Identity & Trust
Next
The hardest problem in digital democracy: how do you verify someone is a real person without knowing who they are? We solve this with Zero-Knowledge Proofs — cryptographic verification that confirms eligibility without storing identity.
Two verification levels: "I am a real human" (global votes) and "I am a citizen of country X" (national votes) — both without revealing who you are. Independent security audits. Open-source publication of all code.
Phase 3 — Global Launch
Proof of Concept
Vote Earth launches globally from day one. Two modes: Global votes — open to every verified human on Earth. National votes — open to verified citizens of a specific country. Users browse, vote, or create questions in either category.
Global questions (climate, AI regulation, inequality) prove the platform works at scale. National questions prove the identity verification works per country. Every result is public, blockchain-stored, and independently verifiable.
Phase 4 — Political Impact
The proof
When enough verified citizens have voted on an issue, the truth becomes impossible to ignore. Media reports it. Politicians are confronted with it. The public discourse shifts from "I think people want X" to "we know people want X — here's the proof."
In countries with existing petition or initiative laws, verified Vote Earth results can trigger official political processes. But even without legal mechanisms: undeniable, verified truth is power.
Phase 5 — Regional Votes
Expansion
Once national voting is proven, we add regional votes — your state, province, canton, Bundesland. This is more complex: every country divides its territory differently. What's a "region" in Germany (16 Bundesländer) isn't the same as in France (13 régions) or the US (50 states).
We map these structures country by country. The ZK-Proof verifies "this person lives in region X" without revealing their address. Local issues, local truth, same unfalsifiable standard.
Phase 6 — The Mirror
Vision
Global, national, and regional votes — all on one platform. The unfalsifiable mirror of what humanity actually wants. Every question, every result, permanently recorded and impossible to deny.
Not decided by the few. Visible for all. In every country, on every level — from your neighborhood to the entire planet.
Why not start a political party?
We considered it. A "mirror party" that votes in parliament exactly as the people vote on Vote Earth. It was tried in Sweden (Demoex, 2002–2014).
The problem: the moment a party exists, party politics begin. Power struggles, compromises, backroom deals. The tool becomes the thing it was built to replace.
Vote Earth stays non-partisan. We don't tell governments what to do — we show them, with unfalsifiable numbers, what the people want. Any party can use the data. No party controls it.
Why launch globally from the start?
Because the biggest questions are global. Climate change doesn't stop at borders. AI regulation affects everyone. And the network effect works in our favor — "people in 47 countries voted" is a bigger story than "people in one country voted."
National votes prove that per-country identity verification works. Global votes prove the platform works at scale. Both from day one.
